Active Outdoor and Stock Photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I was originally trained as a fine-art photographer and was lucky enough to have studied under one of Ansel Adams' darkroom assistants, Norman Locks. This opportunity provided access to valuable information about the craft of photography. Once out of school, I quickly realized that my patience and temperament were better suited to viewing the world at 8 frames per second and made the switch to outdoor action imagery and haven't looked back. I've had photography licensed in over 50 countries and has worked for many of the top outdoor manufacturers and magazines, and worked as a beta-tester for Adobe. Recent sales include: Microsoft, NBC, Viacom, Sierra Club, Legacy.com, and Forbes.
