Stacey is an editorial and commercial photographer who has focused on food photography since moving to Maine from Washington, D.C. over a decade ago. A photojournalism background combined with a fine art sensibility informs her work. She has created images for eight cookbooks, and regularly shoots for The New York Times and a host of other regional and national publications and businesses. When not photographing fresh, local food, she might be found—depending on the season—foraging for mushrooms with her husband; convincing veggies to grow in their suburban garden; trail running with their adorable lab mix, Peanut; road biking or nordic skiing with friends; or exploring islands by kayak.
