Director of Community Growth

 

Cavan has a kickass creative community with over 2600 members in 80+ countries. We’ve curated this crew down from over a quarter million applicants, with the outcome being a very talented group of artists we can count on to create exceptional content for global brands.

We’d like to expand our global footprint, our collection, and ultimately the overall impact of our products by adding to the diversity, talent and reach of our community.

Cavan is looking for an experienced community growth leader who can engage the world of photographers and videographers and build on our strong foundation. Building more impactful products and offerings is directly correlated to the growth and strength of our community and we're looking for an innovator who can lead this growth.

 

Skills and culture fit:

We’re agile, efficient and resourceful and you’ll need these traits too.

You’ll need to be ready to lead the growth of our community with a balance of team and autonomy.

You’ll need to bring some known skills and experience but also a willingness to explore innovative approaches.

You’ll need to have a deep understanding of how humans operate and how they’re motivated.

And, in the end, you’ll need to be the kind of person who can have a parent-level, super-love for the community you built.

Cavan’s looking for a creative marketing strategist that can help us get the word out about our products and abilities.

Cavan's building on several new initiatives, including a custom content platform that harnesses the power of our global creative community. We’re now able to create custom content, on demand, for brands anywhere in the world and we need to tell people about this and more.

 

Skills and culture fit:

You’ll need to live firmly in the new world of communication.

You’ll need to show us how you’ve activated audiences in the past and how you'll do it in the future.

You’ll need to understand the importance of content creation (Fortunately, we’re a content company and can make tons of it but you’ll need to direct it’s path with brilliance & creativity.)

You’ll need to be scrappy and resourceful like we are.

You’ll need a comfortable balance of instinct and data tools to power your decisions and show your results.

You’ll need to be a team player but one who leads the team.

Engagement and audience growth needs to be your life-blood and what gets you up in the morning!
